Warning/advice issued in case of minor non-conformance and time for rectification ranges from 10 – 15 days. Till product shows conformity through vigilance inspection by the PSQCA, the unit is asked to refrain from manufacturing, keeping in stock and sale of such product.

 

• Show Cause Notice issued in case of repeated failure to comply with the set requirement of the relevant Pakistan Standard Specification.
• Public Awareness through mass media about non-compliance of the set quality parameters.
• After expiry of Show Cause period (normally 15 -21 days), the case is filed in the court of FCM as per PSQCA Act-VI, 1996.
• Penalization process.
• Compliance with the Court order.
