Adoption Of ISO Standards
Pakistan has 26,764 Standard Specifications generally conforming to the WTO regime. These include:
- 5,764 national standards formulated by the SDC/PSQCA including 834 number of standards on food and 92 number of standards on food are based on CAC/WHO
- 15,000 ISO standards adopted as Pakistan Standards
- 6,000 IEC standards adopted as Pakistan Standards
